DOG FOOD MANUFACTURERS

My Dad says there are so many companies that make dog food he can't list them all. He found a lot of them, but if you know any good ones that aren't here, please tell him. He says he likes to keep up-to-date. Mom says he's obsessive, whatever that means.

I can't tell you what I eat 'cause my Dad says that might be advertising -- but it's a yummy dry food that's really good for me. Lots of foods have different names than the manufacturers, like Innova. It's made by Natura Pet, and Eukanuba, which is made by Iams. That's the kind of stuff that made Dad crazy.

THE B.A.R.F. DIET

Sounds gross doesn't it? I mean, "BARF"! Who would eat barf? My Dad told me it stands for Bones And Raw Food or something like that. He called it an actomym, or acronym... I don't know those big words. I'm still a puppy..

Anyway, I have a half-sister named Maya who eats this stuff and she looks really good! We run and play a little together whenever we see each other at the park. She's reeeeally fast! I've got to get a picture of her so you can see how much we look alike. We had the same doggie Dad. His name is Von Zebulon, but everybody calls him Zeb.

I asked my Dad what Holistic Food was and he said it was like doggy health food. I still don't know what it means, but if it's good for doggies then it's okay by me. Some people like to cook and bake for their doggies. My friend Jean Miller who owns Two Paws Up -- Happy Camp for Dogs, bakes treats for all her guests.
